1 Minafon Reviews

We stayed at this location for 2 nights. When we arrived we struggled to put the heating on so I called the contact telephone number stated in the manual, although my call was not answered I did receive a call back and was instructed to increase the pressure, at this point I had already noticed that the pressure was low and when I increased it was able to generate some heat...Most of the radiators did work. Regarding the cleanliness, we were really disappointed by this. We felt that the property could have been cleaned in a better way, this includes the bathroom and some rooms having cobwebs... the most concerning for us was the jacuzzi...the water was discoloured and the jacuzzi itself had moss mould stains body hair again this was very disappointing because the private jacuzzi was one of the main reasons where we booked this place..... the biggest disappointment for is that on the day we were due to leave we did have any water...I did contact the person in charge but due to the bank holiday she said that the plumber would arrive after our departure. We left the location without showering which made us really unhappy. Overall a disappointing experience especially with the fact that we paid over 400 for 2 nights, for us some essential upgrades are needed to help improve the overall experience.
Fantastic property, exactly as described in the listing! Hot tub was easy to use and very clean, entire house was clean and tidy, beds very comfortable, as was the electric recliner couch, easy to use log burner, internet was fast, and 4G reception on EE was a bonus considering the remoteness of the property! All in all, we will DEFINITELY be going back again
1 minfon was in the ideal location for our New Years Eve and birthday celebrations. The idyllic location was beautiful and the easy to use hot tub was relaxing and kept us warm on the frosty nights. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. The cottage is quite dated and we did have a few niggles with cleanliness in some rooms, however this did not spoil our stay and would recommend to others.
