Outstanding property, with terrific views. It was really appreciated that the owner went extra miles in a number of areas welcome packs, fresh flowers. Great location for beach and hot tub worth the extra money owner checked chemicals and cleaned it daily. Gas BBQ was available for use too which was excellent and really clean. Lovely front patio catching sun all day and overlooking the sea.

This is a great place to stay. It is a beautiful house and had lots of space for all of us. The facilities are excellent and the extra touches from the owners made it even more special. The location is really good as there is countryside at the back and a short walk to the beach at the front. We had great weather too and so enjoyed the garden and the hot tub.

Absolutely beautiful house. The photos really don't do it justice. It is so spacious and the views are just stunning. The welcome pack was fantastic. It is in a fantastic location, with everything you need in the village, but lots of lovely places to visit locally in the car too. The hot tub was well worth paying the extra for and it was checked each day. The friendly owners live very close by and were very helpful. We would love to return.

Fantastic property in a lovely location. High quality installations inside and out. Well equipped. Lots of little extras so no need to buy very much. Really good welcome package, Milk, tea and coffee, sugar, bara brith cake, welsh butter, sliced white bread and a bottle of champagne in the fridge. Lovely gardens with great views to front of house and seating area. Great garden to the back with lovely seating and hot tub. The owner lives about 4 houses down and was available instantly if needed. Thank you for making us feel very welcome. Very close to cafes, bars, shops amenities and close to the beach, promenade, very quaint place.

Beautiful property in a stunning location. We have holidayed in Criccieth the last few years, but this was the first time in Awelfryn. The view is amazing and the house is very well equipped. Comfortable home from home. Perfect for the beach and castle. Short distance to Pwllheli or Porthmadog for supermarkets with plenty of restaurants within walking distance if you dont fancy cooking! We hope to return.

A beautiful, well appointed house for upto 7 people situated near Criccieth beach and village with lovely views, open fields to the rear and sea views from the front aspect with mature gardens and a hot tub. The house is spacious and well kept. There were beautiful fresh flowers and a welcome hamper with delicious Welsh goodies was waiting for us on our arrival which I found delightful. There is nothing wanting in this rental, the owners have literally thought of everything! We would come back in a heartbeat! The property is so well situated for exploring Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. The owners are a truly lovely family that were easily contactable, friendly and helpful whilst totally respectful of our privacy and we honestly couldn't have asked for more ! A great holiday was had by all

Really well equiped, spacious and organised house. Views from the living room were amazing. The were 8 of us including 2 babies 7 months and 5 months and the house met everyones needs. The owner was very helpful in offering addition baby equipment if required. View of the stars from the hot tub were good because the area was dark

Lovely property and great location for all amenities

This was the best holiday home we have had! ! The house was spacious, light, had great views down to the sea and was well maintained and looked after. The teens LOVED the hot tub. Criccieth was a great village with lots more facilities than we thought and it didn't feel like there were lots of tourists there. Dave came to check the hot tub every day and was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay, very well equipped property beautifully furnished in a lovely location close to the bay. Added touches to assist with our dog extra water bowls, towels etc. Sadly we booked as a group of six but unfortunately our friends developed COVID so we're unable to join us however the rest of us had an amazing stay.

Our whole family has enjoyed our holiday at Awelfryn and would certainly recommend it to other families. The children loved the hot tub and were in it every evening.

The facilities available for use in Awelfryn went beyond the description, we had taken towels for the hot tub we did use our own, & lots of kitchen items tea towels, oven gloves etc & really we did not need to. The house was beautiful & catered for our every need. The views were amazing & the outdoor furniture was positioned to make the most of these views.

Beautiful house, beautifully furnished with view of sea. What's not to like! We all throughly enjoyed our week, grand daughters loved the Hot Tub. Very pleasant and understanding owner. 5 stars all round.

We were a party of six adults and one small child and found we had plenty of space. The hot tub was great and would recommend paying the extra to have it. Awelfryn is a lovely spacious house, well equipped and spotlessly clean. It's just a couple of minutes walk to the beach, most of which is dog friendly so we and our dog had some lovely walks along the beach. Lovely house in a spectacular spot. We had a wonderful time at Awelfryn over Easter. From the welcome pack and beautifully clean interior, to the sea views and lambs gambling on the hillside at the back of the house, we absolutely loved it. Criccieth is a lovely place to wander around, the beach and castle are a short walk away from the property and our children were perfectly happy to explore the rock pools every day with a bucket and spade. However, we did manage to explore a bit further afield with Portmeirion, Black Rock Sands and Caernarfon castle all just a short drive. Big thank you to the owners for their communication and much appreciated extra touches that made our holiday so special.
