Llecyn Reviews

Jamie Morgan
We had such a lovely stay at Llecyn! The house really feels like a proper retreat, perfect for escaping everything for a bit. The rooms are super comfyand the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. The lounges are spacious and cosy, which made chilling out really nice. The snooker room was a bonus - great table and plenty of fun. We also loved the hot tub; it’s a proper treat after a day exploring. Location-wise, it’s spot on - just eight minutes to Aberdaron, which is lovely for beach trips. The beach itself is sandy and huge when the tide’s outand the cliff walks nearby are a good mix of scenic and a bit challenging with all the ups and downs. We popped into Gwesty T Newydd for some good food and beer; their terrace is perfect for a sunny day, with a view over the beachand dogs are allowed out there too. Hells Mouth is worth the visit - park at Porth Neigwl and walk down to the beach, only about five minutes. On our way back, we stopped at The Sun pub in Llanengan, which is nice but be careful on the narrow roads. The Yr Eifl walk is quite the challenge, especially in the rain and fog, but still worth it for the experience. Overall, a fantastic place to relax, walk, swimand explore this beautiful part of Wales!

We had a really lovely week staying here. The house might be a bit older, but it was super clean and had everything we needed. All the appliances and utilities worked perfectly, which was great. The hot tub was in excellent conditionand the garden was perfect for some fun games. We’d definitely come back and recommend it for bigger groups. Honestly, it made our holiday specialand we appreciated the cosy yet functional vibe. Will be booking again!
Emma
We recently stayed here for a family gathering and it was just what we needed. The house is incredibly well-stocked, so we didn’t have to bring much at all, which was a real bonus since some of us were coming from abroad. There’s plenty of space for 10 people, with two comfy living rooms and large bathrooms. The kitchen had everything, from full-sized appliances to loads of crockery and cutlery, plus essentials like washing tablets, bin bagsand tea towels-really thoughtful touches. The land around the property is lovelyand the hot tub was a hit with everyone! We also appreciated the extra touches like hair dryers and the full-sized snooker table. The house was spotless when we arrivedand the surrounding villages are charming and easy to get to. All in all, a fantastic place for a relaxed weekend away, especially with everything you could possibly need already there!
Jamie
