We had an incredible stay at Rhos Y Foel Cottage. a lovely welcome pack for us on arrival. The cottage was perfect for us. Warm and cosy. Great location for traveling to different places. Amazing friendly team that where looking after the property. The ony downside was the times we could access the cottage for arrival and departure. We felt this was too late at 5pm especially in October when it was dark and the early check out at 9am. we felt we had lost a day of our trip.

A beautiful well equipped bungalow in the heart of the Welsh countryside. Very quiet with outstanding views of the mountains. A secure garden for the dogs. We made good use of the hot tub and enjoyed the complimentary hamper!

This was our third visit but sadly our last. The place was spotless on arrival but there was a strong smell in the main bedroom. It made us feel sick as it smelled as if something was rotting in there. We agreed to stay in the twin beds in the other room overnight as the owner was away until late that night. The beds were very flimsy and thin mattresses which left us with aching backs. The owner knocked the next morning and said she couldn't smell anything yet her partner could the night before. She asked if we expected her to pull a bed out of the air. We agreed to stay in the twin beds with a double mattress. She tried a double mattress with the twin beds together which was too small so they tried mattress toppers over twin mattresses. We said they would be okay but on closer inspection they were too soft and there was a large yellow stain. We were told her Dad would come and pull the wardrobe apart the next day to find the source of the smell in the main room. Later that day we decided to leave and go to another property we had found as we felt there shouldn't be people coming in and out working during our holiday. The owner was very dismissive and had poor customer skills. After alot of phone calls we got a full refund from Sykes days later.

Lovely place and the hot tub was great, could do with instructions of how to use it. The horses in the field next to the garden were great to watch while in the hot tub and the dog loved watching them too while in the garden, which is very secure for a dog.There are some beautiful walks with the dog and the beach is a short drive away. The bad bits were, the mattresses could do with updating, as you could feel the springs. The floor in the wet room is very slippery when showering so beware. There was a weird dirty nappy smell in the main bedroom and even when brought a air fresher you could still smell it and lasted the whole 3 days of sleeping there, did leave a note for the cleaner, so hopefully that got sort for the next people. Overall the experience was lovely and a nice relaxing 3 days away with my daughter and dog.

A beautiful cottage. Lovely views and clean and comfortable. Very well set out. Easy to find too. The hot tub was lovely. The only negative thing we could say is the late check in and early checkout. It would have been nice to have made full use of the hot tub for the whole weekend. Lovely welcome basket on arrival too. Would definitely return and recommend this lovely little cottage.

We had an amazing stay! The property was perfectly suited for holidaying with dogs as it was secure and all on one level. We had a brilliant time staying at Rhos y Foel cottage as a family with 2 children. The location is absolutely beautiful and the hot tub makes it even more special. This is our second time here and we booked again for for later in the year as we like it that much! The cottage was spotless, cosy and has all you need and is in a very peaceful and relaxing location. We slept so well in the comfy beds. The garden is secure and enclosed for our dog too. The welcome pack and hot tub we're a lovely touch. The owners are lovely and our dog liked a fuss off them too. Plenty of places and beaches nearby to visit. Highly recommend and we look forward to our next visit.

Apologies to the owner for the poor review, this is very much about Sykes I have used Sykes many times for many years and couldnt more more disappointed The cottgae was booked on a Sunday evening around 9pm When the booking confirmation email arrived a noticed the dates where incorrect the app defaults to 3 days without you seeing on initial search I tried to cancel immediately within 5 minutes of booking to get a message saying I would get no refund I tried to call Sykes at 9am Monday, held for 30 minutes no answer Tried again at lunchtime held for 45 minutes no answer Tried live chat no response Tried text chat waited 5 days for a response apologising for slow response Called Tuesday lunchtime waited 45 minutes no answer Finally managed to speak to someone on Wednesday, was told that a manger wouldnt agreed to a refund but wasnt prepared to speak to me Was told by Sykes representative to amend booking for later in the year as as least I wouldnt lose my money Get an email in my spam folder to say that amendment was refused Shockingly poor customer service throughout

Excellent stay perfect location and very peaceful. Hot tub great edition to relax after a long day. Only gripe was the bed which was to soft for us but can't suit everyone. Overall would definitely stay here again and would also recommend.

We have just returned from the most relaxing week at Rhos Y Foel cottage. Picked for its secluded location, in the hope to avoid fireworks with our dog, it didnt disappoint. There was nothing about our stay at the cottage that was negative. A great base to go and discover the many local beaches but also comfortable for those days when the weather is not the best. The hot tub was a great touch. Overall a fabulous stay and we will definitely be booking to return in the future.

We have recently returned from a lovely week at Rhos Y Foel cottage. The cottage is very homely and the owners have provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. The dog friendly secure garden was brilliant for our pup, she thoroughly enjoyed herself. The views of the mountains are beautiful and it was lovely watching the owners 2 horses in the field. The hot tub was great and brilliant for stargazing at night. We would highly recommend the property and wouldn't hesitate returning if we come back to the area. Thanks for the lovely hamper of prosecco, biscuits and chocolates.

Lovely friendly welcome as we drove up to the property, with a nice welcome pack of wine and chocolates, tea, coffee and sugar, and an information booklet on the area, and also hot tub info. Very clean, fresh and bright so it was nice to actually just stay in the cottage sometimes with the bifold doors open overlooking the view. Great enclosed space on the patio and lawn for the dog to have a sniff around, and he enjoyed watching the two ponies in the adjoining field. Great place to have as a base in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at Rhos y Foel cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and there was a very nice welcome basket with chocolates and Prosecco and other goodies. Well equipped kitchen. A doormat would have been useful as we had dogs , so we were in and out often, and the weather was wet. The hot tub was lovely and the view across of the mountains with snow was perfect. Thankyou for a wonderful stay. We would love to return soon and would recommend.

Our second stay here and we can't fault it. It's spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and has a totally secure garden for our 2 escape artist dogs! The hot tub is perfect for relaxing in after a day of exploring and there are horses behind the house and views of the mountains. Thank you for another relaxing week, we were sad to leave.

Lovely cottage, very big, in a beautiful quiet location. Very clean and comfortable. The owners are very friendly. The welcome package was very much appreciated, prosecco, tea, coffee, biscuits crackers, and milk. There are friendly horses in the field at the back, the horse owners live next door, and pass twice a day. Instructions for the hot tub, and the washer dryer would have helped, but we managed. The bifolding doors and windows are quite heavy, not a negative, just want people to be aware. The cottage is remote, nearest shop we found was in Nefyn. That didn't bother us, as that's what we wanted. Great place as a base to explore, or just to have R&R, which is what we wanted. I would highly recommend.
