The White House Reviews

A great place to stay with a short, but quite steep, walk to the beach. The house provides everything needed for an enjoyable stay for a family. Although we didn't use it the Hot Tub is a special feature which will be enjoyed by most staying here. The kitchen is superb, but there are many mismatched items of crockery which could be updated. There was a distinct lack of clocks in the property, and these would have enhanced to overall experience. The opportunities to enjoy the 'seaside holiday', or to travel around the area, either on foot or in a car, are considerable and The White House makes an ideal base. Thank you.

Overall a nice house. Could of been cleaner, found some hairdust balls about, some of the duvet covers had marks on them. Only one of the bunk beds was made up so the other couldn't be used. More seating in the living room would be good and maybe set out differently. Some people couldn't see the tv from where they were sat.

We loved this house, it was clean and kitchen was large, well equipped and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. It is well positioned about a 10 minute walk downhill to the beautiful beach where we spent most of our time. Obviously its uphill on the way back. The Ship inn is also about a 10 minute walk where we had 2 beautiful meals. We also loved the aqua bar on the beach. Hot tub was lovely as well. It would be good if there was a sign up somewhere saying what the bin collection days are. We are looking to book again next year.

Lovely holiday home perfect location for us, a quiet village but short 5 to 10 minute walk to the wonderful beach of Llanbedrog. We loved the large kitchen, with sofa and dining room table, spent most of our time there when not out and about. Bedrooms were large, airy and comfy. Could do with having information in the property on the local area but we found walks, our favourite being on the headland the tin man. The hot tub a nice luxury.

Just a beautiful property, everything was provided for from toiletries, washing up utensils, to a lovely and thoughtful welcome basket. The hot tub was fantastic, and the owner responded really fast to a question I had about it and was very helpful. The heating is incredibly efficient and easy to use, water pressure and temperature perfect could not recommend more highly.

Lovely house, good facilities and a really good central location. The owner was very helpful and responsive to all any queries. Plenty of parking, outside storage for toys and a lovely little garden with modern hot tub.

Lovely property and a great base for exploring the llyn peninsula . . the hot tub was fab and the inside of the house was pretty good ,unfortunately the outside needs a bit of attention and is not dog secure the property is on the main road through the village The garden needs a good tidy and the large section of broken fencing lying in the middle of the lawn could do with refixing to cover the oil tank ,we would stay again but would hope the issues I mention have been deal with ,

The White House is a lovely cottage and we had a fantastic stay with our 3 month old and dog. Its very spacious and well equipped, the bed was so comfy and the hot tub was a real bonus. Great central location in the village and easy to explore the whole peninsular highly recommend and hope to return!

Overall, we loved our stay and The White House was a great base to explore the area. Having the stunning beach, footpaths, shop and discovering the fantastic arts centre and cafe at Plas GlynyWeddw all within easy reach meant there was so much on the doorstep. Hot tub was a lovely treat after a cold day out walking! Our only comments on the house were that it felt a little sparse blinds in the bathrooms would be appreciated for privacy and comfort, some door mats to help keep the place clean and a few more mugs, plates and bowls a lot were badly chipped. Would be nice to have been left a few more essentials we found only 4 tea bags and 3 dishwasher tablets. There was a note left out still from the previous guests commenting that the timer for the heating and hot water needed resetting, which we also found as it came on at strange times so had to use it manually. Also, two of the outdoor lights don't work. All things that can be easily remedied and overall we had a lovely stay.
