Ty Halen in Morfa Nefyn, Llyn Peninsula

Visited Ty Halen to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary with all our family. Absolutely perfect. Julie was so kind and helpful. House was stunning and location was even better than we had hoped. The welcome package was a lovely surprise. Family all loved the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and visit again. ????

Excellent location, well equipped and nicely prepared. Beds were good and plenty of space for our family. Plenty of bathrooms. We had 7 days of very good weather and the hot tub was amazing.. The views of the sea were fantastic and the beach was a very short walk away. The coastal path was also nearby and the walk to Nefyn was beautiful. We recommend the walk through the golf course to the Ty Coch pub and the seal colony further along the path to the back end of the golf course. Also strongly advise trying food at the Ship Inn, Edern. Much better than our experience at the neighbours the Cliffs where the service was very slow and the discount for staying at Ty Halen was not honoured despite advising when booking.

Ty Halen is an absolute gem. The view from the decking is lovely. Sitting out in the morning or of an evening was so peaceful. The property has everything you would expect and need. The welcome hamper was an added bonus. The welcome pack for the property is comprehensive and has some good information about the surroundings area and walks etc. The beds were very comfy. Large double fridge gave us plenty of room for food and the essentials like wine and beer ????. It was clean and tidy. Bathrooms were nice and clean. As someone with mobility issues the large walk in shower was ideal. Access to the beach is about 50-70m away, out the front door and down the road. Fantastic location. The pub round the back of the property (The Cliffs) is dog friendly and serves lovely food. Staff very friendly. We didn't hear any noise from the pub of an evening when we were back at the property, even when we were sat outside. While we were there we had an issue with the hot tub (this is not a criticism, things happen) the house keeper, Julie discovered it whilst at the property checking the hot tub levels. She was straight on it. We were kept informed of everything that she was doing to get the issue sorted. The electrician 'Kev' also pulled out all the stops to fix the problem, he came round straight away (and this was at the weekend and a bank holiday as well!) nothing was too much for either of them. We also had a text message from the property owner apologizing and outlining what was happening. We only lost the one night using the hot tub in the end due to the efforts of both Julie and Kev. They both kept in touch to make sure all was running well with the hot tub. They are both a credit to this property. We would happily book Ty Halen again.
