Bryn Eiddon Log Cabin Reviews

Edward
Open fire and hot tub were great. The lodge is really warm and cosy with beautiful views. A great base to explore this part of Wales.
Jocelyn
Well presented property in a tranquil rural location. Lodge was well equipped and owners very friendly and helpful. Dogfriendly beaches not too far away Aberdyfi and Barmouth worth a visit. Some stunning scenery and walks. Hot tub was marvellous!
We had the most amazing time during our stay! The views from the cabin are absolutely breathtaking, and relaxing in the hot tub while soaking them in was pure bliss. The only visitors we had were sheep and cows, which delighted both the children and our Dog. There are so many lovely walks right from the cabin, and Aberdyfi Beach was a highlight for us. Its dogfriendly with a large section just for them, and we enjoyed it so much we visited twice! We also explored the Steam Railway about 45 minutes away which was a great experience, and the White Water Rafting around an hours drive was thrillingjust make sure to book in advance. Conveniently, theres a Coop just 10 minutes away with excellent EV charging facilities in the car park. The local Fish and Chip shop was delicious, and being able to order online for collection was a nice bonus. We can 100 recommend this place and are already planning our next visit. Its the perfect mix of relaxation, nature, and adventure!
Philip
Our second stay at this beautifully situated cabin. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. The hot tub affords amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Our dog loves the well fenced garden. Very friendly and hospitable owner. I can highly recommend this property.

A great lodge located in an amazing place in the lovely Welsh hills! Everything you need for a relaxing quiet stay with great owners who are so nice and helpful. Seeing the Red Kites flying above the lodge was amazing and a great hot tub. The town of Machenlleth is 5.1 miles away and has everything you need to stock up with whilst on holiday, Our first stay in a Sykes Lodge but we will be back!
Adrian
Bryn Eiddon Log Cabin was lovely and its faciliities fully met all our expectations which isnt often the case. The stunning views, an actually hot hot tub and lovely sunny weather exceeded them. Beautiful location to unwind in surrounded by some very entertaining lambs when we stayed. The owner Bethan checked in with us to make sure everything was ok and was lovely. This place is a real gem.
Lianne
Loved our second stay at Bryn Eiddon. The best thing about this cabin is it's truly secluded. I've booked things before that say secluded and they really aren't but I love that this is in a middle of a field and you're surrounded by sheep. cabin is clean and has everything you need. Hot tub is fantastic and if you keep your eyes peeled there's teeny bunnies living under the decking.
This is the perfect stay if you are looking for a nice chilled holiday, of pure peace and quite. The views are stunning and worth watching in the morning and evening. With the red kites and sheep makes you feel with nature. Thank you Make sure have essentials as nearest shop is 15 min drive away
Louise
Amazing property with exceptional views, the hot tub was a real treat and we witnessed some amazing sunsets during our stay. The WiFi was a bit hit and miss at times and I only downgraded the cleanliness score as there were some stray pet hairs but appreciate this is a pet friendly property and its not always easy to get them all. Overall we had a fantastic week and would happily recommend and return.
Louise
Beautiful Log Cabin, in a perfect location, it really is home from home it has everything you could need and the prosecco and filter coffee are a beautiful extra touch, Bethan the host is amazing nothing was to much trouble for her, she even turned up with a bottle of wine when she found out we got engaged. We can't wait to come again

Our stay at the Bryn Eiddon was so enjoyable and will leave us with wonderful memories. The property was made so welcoming by the owners with special touches that we really appreciated. To wake up every day and see the amazing views from the lodge felt such a privilege, its such a beautiful place. Was also an ideal location to take our dog for walks right from the lodge. As we stayed late OctNov we wondered if the lodge may be a bit cold, but this wasnt the case it was extremely cosy. We couldnt recommend the Bryn Eiddon enough and cant wait to visit again!
Beautiful cabin, everything you needed. Superb location and fabulous views. Hot tub was great. Would definitely visit again.
Andrew
Superb cabin in a beautiful location. Cabin was spotless when we arrived and all equipment is like new . Hot tub was lovely and hot and perfect for watching the clouds drift by being undercover was a bonus for when it rains. Only negative or positive to somewas zero phone signal on EE and Vodafone but this is beyond owners control.

This is the 2nd time weve stayed at Bryn Eiddon and probably not the last. We were blessed with the fantastic weather last year but not so lucky this year! Nevertheless, our stay was just magical once more and the weather did not stop us doing what we wanted to do as were quite outdoorsy people. However, whats truly magical about the place is its location. I was born and bred in Wales but I was never lucky enough to witness the view that you wake up to every morning at Bryn Eiddon, its truly stunning, with sheep grazing only a few feet away from you. No camera in the world can do it justice and you simply have to be there to experience it. I felt really homesick driving home to Stafford yesterday after spending a week at such a stunning lodge with even more stunning views. All of my friends are completely envious when I show them photos of this incredible place. I shall definitely be returning.
We have just had a wonderful week in Wales, going back to the cabin after a full day of activities was so peaceful and relaxing. It was SO clean and had everything you need and more. The owners were in touch with any problems. What a beautiful place with only sheep and cows for neighbours. If you want to get away from it all it is the perfect place and still just 10 minutes driving from the town.
Anthony
Lovely cabin with everything needed in a magnificent location.
Amazing place
We had a wonderful time during the Whitsun half term break at Bryn Eiddon Log Cabin. We enjoyed spending time at the beach, walking along beautiful paths, and relaxing in the hot tub while gazing at the stunning view. This was exactly what we needed and we look forward to returning soon.
Beautiful place with absolutely everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing break. Will return!

Our break in this beautiful lodge was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The lodge had everything you needed & more, the perfect location for a romantic or family holiday away with beautiful mountains when you wake & stunning while sat in the hot tub. Such clean accommodation. Extremely welcoming & friendly. The owners are so lovely & helpful & make your holiday a dream come true. We have had many breaks away & this is the best by far. Thankyou so much
Anthony
The cabin and facilities are exceptional, what we didn't expect was the stunningly beautiful nature of the location and area in which it is situated. This part of Wales is not well know, the property owners should promote that more.
Cabin is in a beautiful spot with fantastic views, well equipped and very comfortable, great place to just relax.
Rebecca
This was an amazing lodge, perfect for the relaxing break we needed. Our dog Luna loved looking at the sheep and them back at her, hilarious!! Would love to visit again, the scenery is amazing.
Absolutely beautiful location, the perfect break if youre looking to unwind and relax away from the everyday. We would sell our house and move in to Bryn Eiddon cabin in a heartbeat!!
The cabin was very clean and spacious. It has everything you need to make a relaxing time perfect. From sunset watching in the hot tub to a log burning stove in the evening. The owners were very helpful. I couldn't recommend this secluded little getaway enough.
The cleanliness of the property was fantastic, the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. The views were also spectacular. The hot tub which I was a bit indifferent before we went was fabulous. If the weather had been nicer and we were eating more meals outside I would have preferred chairs with a back instead of the picnic table but I do suffer from a bad back. But overall the place, views, area, beds, sheep were all amazing!!!! Would not hesitate to recommend. X
Excellent place for quiet holidays. Stunning views. Truly recommended. Hosts are kind and helpful. Log cabin is amazing, location same. Can't see single thing which I didn't like.
Christine

We really enjoyed the hot tub and the view from it was great. I cant really fault this place! Bethan the owner was very helpful. Lovely walks at the back of the cabin too!
