Caerffynnon House, Porthmadog

What a beautiful house this was. Upon arrival the scenery was stunning. The house had everything you needed. We traveled as a family of 5 myself my hubby, our son and his fianc and my mom so having all onsuit bathrooms was amazing. We cooked a couple of meals and everything was there we needed and more. There was a lovely pub in the village about 5 minutes walk from the house where we have a lovely meal and went back to later in the week. We visited Port Merion which is a lovely itatian village about 1015 minutes drive away. Harlick about 5 minutes away. Porthmadog about 15 mins away. We walked up Cadair Idris about 35 mins away. Aber falls about 35 mins away stunning Betwsy coed about 40 mins away so worth the drive just stunning views, we had breakfast in the Alpine cafe this was lovely and evening meal in The Royal Oak and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had and staff where amazing. We only had drinks in the Stables next door but went back twice as it was just stunning even outside heaters if it was a little chilly. The food looked amazing here also but ran out of time for a meal. We went to Barmouth and Llandudno both about 30 mins away so this house is a great location to get out and about. We will definitely book again in this stunning house. There are numbers to ring if you have a problem but we didnt need these as everything was spot on. Comfy beds to a lovely hot tub overlooking beautiful views the sunsets are amazing to watch. Sorry for the long review but this house and area are just stunning and the is even nicer than the photos.

Great location, facilities, layout and view, especially from the open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge.

Caerffynnon House is fabulous. All the amenities you could possibly want for your stay. Decorated to a high spec the house is delightful. Four really good size bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Underfloor heating makes the house feel comfortable at all times. The outside seating area and hot tub are an added bonus. The only issue we had was the toilet seat in the downstairs kingsize room. We presumed that it's not the original toilet seat and is a replacement but it does not fit properly and moved whenever we used it. We were frightened of breaking it!! But that is the only issue. The views from the 1st floor living area are amazing and at night time Portmeirion looks stunning all lit up. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful property, the photos dont do it justice. The views and sunsets in the evening are breathe taking we will definitely return.

A little piece of luxury, had everything you needed and more. Perfect spot to explore North Wales. The views were epic and outstanding across the bay.

Beautiful cottage but ground floor rooms were cold. Very comfortable. Hot tub was a success with all the family.
