Great pace to stay and the owners were very helpful.

I gave it 4 stars for a few reasons.The hot tub had way too much chlorine—more than a public pool. I did not enjoy being in this freshwater soaking in chlorine, and I did soak every day, as this was one of the main reasons I chose this property. Not enough lighting outside- around tub area. There was no heated radiator (we stayed at the end of September), so we had wet towels all the time. They would not dry even though we had the fireplace on, and it was really hot inside. We found some treats for us—crisps and a bottle of Wine—a nice touch. But we had no salt (we realized this only on the second day), insufficient matches, or fire starters for the first night. Matches and fire starters were provided the next day after we messaged the host.However, on Sunday late morning, when I messaged about the salt, I was texted back saying that she was out until lunch and that I should get it from the garage down the road. So I walked around trying to find the garage, but no luck. The water pressure in the shower is also very low. Some shower gel would have been very helpful, as we are so used to finding it at all the other properties.It has a very comfy bed and a cosy property overall. The nearest EV charge is 40 min drive.
